Tim Thompson

Senior Pastor Tim Thompson is a “spiritual mutt!” He was raised Presbyterian, dunked and converted to a Baptist in college, wooed to the Christian and Missionary Alliance to be a Youth Minister, and landed safely home as a Methodist through his training at Asbury Theological Seminary.

His early years in college found him wandering far from God, enjoying the fraternity life at the University of Kentucky. God, who is rich in mercy, found Tim and invited him to receive forgiveness and a new start in life. God is so good, and our “running from the call of God” preacher reached out to accept grace so freely given. That’s why Pastor Tim preaches so much about grace and mercy – Christ has changed his life! Tim believes if he can be forgiven and changed, anyone can, so God has given him a real passion for lost and wandering souls.

His conviction is to offer people Christ, for in Him lies the answers for living. Tim’s friendly nature and warm smile are genuine expressions of a man who loves God and God’s people. He’s married to Ronda and they have two daughters, Leah and Sarah! Pastor Tim is a sports nut, a used-to-be jock, and a wanna-be jammer on the guitar!
